They've been building boats in Le Guilvinec for a century: the Gléhen shipyard, founded in 1911, now specialises in steel and aluminium shipbuilding and repair, while the Hénaff shipyard has been specialising in traditional timber construction since 1928, and was awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label in 2020.
