Embark on a musical and historical journey with Travers'ères, a concert-conference that traces the development of the flute from the Renaissance to the present day. The project, led by flutist Johanne Favre-Enfel, invites you to explore the transformations of this instrument, illustrated by the performance of excerpts from works on historical instruments.

Johanne Favre-Engel is renowned for her mastery of both historical and modern flutes. She performs regularly with internationally renowned orchestras such as the Insula Orchestra and the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées. Her passion also leads her to give concert-conferences at the Philharmonie de Paris, unveiling her precious private collection of instruments.

With Travers'ères, Johanne Favre-Engel will bring to life authentic instruments and faithful copies, from the Renaissance flute to the modern flute, including rare pieces from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods. Get ready for a fascinating exploration of the sounds of yesteryear, highlighting the richness and diversity of the world of the flute.

In partnership with the Conservatoire Musique et Danse de Quimperlé Communauté.
