As part of the H2ONa participatory art project, photographer Maud Martin and the association Bretagne Vivante
are offering an immersive day combining naturalistic observation, photography and socialising.
The morning is devoted to a focus on nature photography: during a guided walk, participants are invited to observe the fauna, flora and landscapes, to explore the links between water and living things and to refine their photographic eye on the environment.
The outing takes place in the company of a group from the CCAS.
A friendly picnic is planned for lunch, lasting around two hours.
waste picnic.
Following the photographic walk in the field, a creative-composition session will take place in the afternoon, focusing on the self and the body as an element of nature.
and the body as an element of nature, echoing the way we look at water and the foreshore.
Accompanied by photographer Maud Martin, participants select their images, learn the basics of retouching and printing, and create a self-portrait or a 'nature' portrait in the form of a work of art that they leave with at the end of the session/workshop.
Open to all, with no pre-requisites, the workshop is part of the H2ONa participatory art project in Concarneau,
bringing together local residents and a wide range of people to create a collective work on water.
Bookings must be made the day before by 12 noon with Maud MARTIN 06 63 98 64 37; [email protected]
