Participants will discover the maritime past of the Old Port through the important commercial exchanges it witnessed. The visit will take the group to Port La Foret, the 2nd marina of Finistère whose initial project: a marina including an ambitious and vast tourist complex has caused a lot of ink to flow. The vast real estate project will not see the light of day, but the marina will continue to develop in terms of reception capacity and quality equipment, which today make Port La Forêt an internationally renowned port, particularly in the field of offshore racing.

Participants will discover the maritime past of the Old Port which is an important crossroads for commercial exchanges. The tour will end at "Ponds of Penfoulic" in the cove of Penfoulic where shellfish farming – the production of shellfish – has been practiced since the 19th century.
