Island of Sein

Description

Opposite the Pointe du Raz, classified as a Grand Site de France, the Ile de Sein seems to rest on the water. This haven of peace is a particularly protected natural area, part of the Regional Natural Park of Armorique and the Marine Natural Park of Iroise. Since 2013, its port, suitable for walking, has been labeled "port of heritage interest".
Enthusiasts of invigorating walks will find what they are looking for, walking towards the Goulenez Lighthouse (open in season), via the coastal path that leads to the Saint-Corentin chapel, along the Port-Caïc dike or by taking the path in the direction of the tip of Kelaourou… On the visit side, you can discover the sea rescue museum and the museum of the island of Sein.
On the Sénan tables, seafood reigns supreme (line-caught sea bass, lobsters, etc.). By observing the Raz de Sein, between the Pointe du Raz and the island, you may even see a few liners fishing for bass...

Departing from Audierne all year round.
