Since many years, Port-La-Foret the marina is part of an environmental certification process aimed at reducing its impact on the marine environment and protecting the ecosystem.
Thus, all harbor master's staff are actively involved in the implementation of the environmental program on a daily basis, while contributing to raising awareness among port users.
A few actions:
- Fairing areas equipped with a waste water recovery and treatment system
- Clean point with selective sorting (glass, toxic and polluting products, batteries, etc.)
- The Biohut program, initiated by Ecocean, allows thanks to artificial nurseries to shelter and protect small fish and other marine animals.
