Around the Saint-Cadou chapel
Description
What a pleasure to start this walk along Saint-Cadou and admire the Château de Penfrat (private property) a little further on. During your walk, you will discover beautiful surprises: the pretty Saint-Cadou chapel, surrounded by its oratory and its fountain, a green countryside along pleasant wooded paths and the orchards of the Kermao cider house. To finish the walk, you will take small roads before returning to the starting point.

Steps
1. In the parking lot of “the Moulin du Pont residence”, head towards the large roundabout, staying on your left. After the roundabout, follow the cove of Saint-Cadou for 800 m, passing by a sanded and then asphalted road. Turn left to take the path which goes up towards Chemin de Lesquidic Nevez. Continue through Hent Lesquidic to arrive on Departmental Route 234. View location
2. After crossing Departmental Road 234, take Chemin de Kerambraguer, and turn right onto a wooded path. Arrive on the Hent Feunteun Ledan path, go back towards the main road and turn left (Be careful, busy road). Immediately take Hent Gorre left again and turn right, the small lane which takes you towards a cider house. View location
3. Before the cider house, go back to the hamlet of Ty Laë. On the Route de Quimper, turn left and cross to take the Hent Saint-Cadou route (towards the Saint-Cadou chapel), then at the next intersection, turn left onto the Route du Vray-Secours. After 1 km in the wooded lane, turn right at the intersection which takes you to a natural path and a path along agricultural plots. After taking a common road with an old renovated farmhouse, you arrive at Hent de Saint-Cadou then turn left. View location
4. After 350 meters, continue to admire the chapel of Saint-Cadou and retrace your steps or turn right to take the Chemin de Penfrat. After 950 m, you can make a small loop on the banks of Saint-Cadou cove where you can admire the lights of the salt meadows or some birds. View location
5. After passing the Château de Penfrat on your left and the magnificent oak tree, take a small path on the left in the woods and return to the Chemin de Penfrat. After a few meters, you will arrive on your outward path. To find your starting point, follow the cove of Saint-Cadou until the roundabout. View location
