Sailcoop

Description

THE ISLANDS OF GLÉNAN, THE ISLAND OF GROIX
Sailing towards Les Glénan or Groix, gently, lulled by the sound of the wind in the sails.
This is what Voilà Sailcoop offers you, the new sailing shuttle departing from Concarneau, Locmiquélic and Lorient from May.

Come on board to live this unique and comfortable experience!
Imagine, arriving on the Glénan archipelago or Port-Tudy under full sail, it immediately gives a different flavor, right? To live the island experience to the fullest, Voilà Sailcoop invites you to cross on its 61-foot catamaran which can accommodate up to 80 people (including 50 interior seats, bicycles and luggage included). Designed to be efficient under sail, accessible, safe and comfortable, this first shuttle specially designed for passenger transport is preparing to revolutionize coastal connections!

A long-term philosophy
The journey lasts 1 hour 45 minutes, between the pontoons of the walled city and the hold of Saint-Nicolas Island, with navigation in the heart of the Glénan archipelago. 1h45 to appreciate the swell, enjoy the landscape and rediscover the feeling of a long time, in harmony with nature. On board Voilà Sailcoop, we discover the maritime territory in a friendly and respectful way.

A company dedicated to the transport of passengers by sail
At the initiative of Voilà Sailcoop, we find the Sailcoop cooperative, which has set itself the mission of offering low-carbon maritime transport solutions. With 2500 members and based in Vannes, the company already operates a first sailing line, between Saint-Raphaël and Calvi. Drawing on its experience in the Mediterranean, it is therefore launching two new lines in spring 2024, Breton this time: Locmiquélic-Lorient-Groix and Concarneau-Les Glénan.

A commented and fun crossing
This sailing trip also allows you to learn a little more about the environment of the Glénan archipelago. During the crossing, passengers will be able to benefit from awareness raising on the island's biodiversity. Several dedicated animations
children will also come along to punctuate the crossing – all to starboard!
