In order to improve the passage of pedestrians and cyclists between Port-La-Forêt and the Old Port, the pedestrian bridge was replaced in the spring of 2023.
The multi-purpose hall of the Old Port (former fish factory) was destroyed and made way for the Jardin de la Cale: children's play area, picnic tables and bowling alley.
