The great traditional Breton festival of La Forêt-Fouesnant makes his return.
The Cherry Tree Festival will take place this year on Sunday June 26, 2022.
Program :
- 14:00 – 14:30 p.m.: parade of people in traditional Breton costumes in the main street, from the Cultural Center Le Nautile to the Théâtre de Verdure in Peniti.
- From 14 p.m. at the Green Theater of Peniti:
14:35 p.m. – 15:00 p.m.: presentation of groups and queens
15:10 p.m. – 15:20 p.m.: Breton dance show by the Celtic circle Ar Bleuniou Kignez from La Forêt-Fouesnant (youth group)
15:30 p.m. – 15:50 p.m.: show and concert by the bagad ensemble and the Kerlenn Pondi circle of Pontivy
15:55 p.m. – 16:30 p.m.: breizh battle
16:35 p.m. – 16:55 p.m.: show and concert by the bagad ensemble and the Kerlenn Pondi circle of Pontivy
17:05 p.m. – 17:20 p.m.: Breton dance performance by the Celtic circle Eostiged ar Stangala from Quimper (groups of teenagers)
17:30 p.m. – 17:50 p.m.: Breton dance show by the Celtic circle Ar Bleuniou Kignez from La Forêt-Fouesnant (adult group)
18:00 p.m. – 18:20 p.m.: Breton dance performance by the Celtic circle Eostiged ar Stangala from Quimper (groups of adults)
– concert of the bagad ensemble and circle of the Kerlenn Pondi of Pontivy
18:20 p.m.: mile dance
18:25 p.m. – 18:40 p.m.: Results of the Gouren tournaments and presentation of trophies
Throughout the afternoon: Gouren tournaments (= Breton wrestling), as well as an activity around the bread oven (making bread), not forgetting the sale of cherries, pancakes, cider, beer...
In case of bad weather: withdrawal planned at the cultural center Le Nautile.
